Opera has announced a new app Opera Max for Android devices. This app helps in improving your data plan by up to 50%. Opera Max works by routing all your internet traffic through Opera’s servers that compress the content and send back to your phoe. In this way, it reduces your Internet data and reduce your data plan bill. Suppose you have a 1 GB data plan monthly, it lets you consume 1.5GB data for same cost.

Opera Max is a free data-saving app that compresses videos, photos and text across most of your phone’s apps. Thus it provides more mobile data for free. It also lets you control how your mobile app consumes your phone’s data.
