Goodbye!

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Dhingana as much as we enjoyed building it.

But alas, all good things must come to an end.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be a part of your musical moments!

There is no statement why they took the step. But it is obvious that they couldn’t follow the good monetization strategy.

It tried to make music more accessible to people. Dhingana was founded in 2007 by Snehal and Swapnil Shinde, twin brothers. In 2011, it raised undisclosed amount from ventus Capital Partners and Helion Venture Partners. In past 2 years, Dhingana had introduced Android, iOS and Windows 8 apps. When company last announced, it had close to  million users globally. Last year in July, it also launched a paid subscription model. Company had also tied with many smartphone manufacturers to pre-load their apps in smartphones.
