Web18 Shuts down Tech2.in.com, Redirects to Firstpost

Add Techlomedia as a preferred source on Google.

In November, we reported that Web18 is planning to shutdown In.com and other web properties under its network. Later in November, In.com also stopped its music streaming service. Now, another website Tech2.in.com has been moved to tech.Firstpost.

Web18 owns many popular websites and it is slowly moving or shutting websites under in.com one by one. Firstpost is also a part of Web18 network.

In.com was very popular few years back but Google Panda update slapped it. After traffic drop, it couldn’t recovered properly and web18 decided to shut it down.

When we closely looked at the alexa stats and SEMrush stats, it seems that in.com has received good traffic in the end of December. Search engine visibility and Alexa rank was also improved. But it is becoming hard for web18 to keep in.com running.
