Twitter For Android Gets Photo Editing Feature

Twitter has announced a new update for Androi app. This update will bring photo editing, sharing and discovery feature within app. Now you can crop and rotate image. You can also mention friends if they are in the photo.

“Now you can crop your photos by selecting an aspect, such as square or wide. You can rotate an image before you share it to make sure it fits nicely in your Tweet. And when you upload a photo of people, you’ll see a reminder to @ mention your friends so they can see your photo too,” Twitter Engineer Matt Belland announced.

In addition to Photo editing, Twitter has also added a new way of discovering new fresh content. When users refresh timeline and there are no new tweets, it will display trending or trending tweets and recommended accounts to follow. U.S. users will also see news, entertainment and sports updates.

The updated Twitter app is available now in the Google Play Store. Company also promised to bring these features to Twitter iOS app soon.
