Syrian Electronic Army is again in news for hacking into the Twitter and Facebook accounts of Skype. Official blog of Skype was also hacked. They also tweeted that people should stop using Skype. Similar Tweet was also tweeted by compromised Twitter account.

It appears that they also managed to hack the official Skype blog. They have sent the screenshot of WordPress dashboard. And a blog post on the blog. Skype has disabled the blog and now redirecting to Skype.com when we tried to visit the blog. skype-wordpress

Skype regained control to all its hacked social media properties and deleted the hacker messages from Twitter and Facebook. Skype has confirmed that its social media properties were hacked. They tweeted that no user info was compromised in the attack.

 

The Syrian Electronic Army was involved in many high profiles hack last year. It hacked Twitter accounts and blogs of many big companies.
