Google has acquired Bitspin, company behind alarm clock app Timely. Bitspin has announced this acquisition via its website.

“We’re thrilled to announce that Bitspin is joining Google, where we’ll continue to do what we love: building great products that are delightful to use,” Bitspin announced.

Timely app will continue to work even after this acquisition. Timely is a beautiful alarm clock app for Android. It comes with cloud integration to backup and synchronize your alarm with multiple devices. Now users can enjoy everything within app for free. Initially, there were many content locked behind in-app purchase. Now, Google has made everything for free. This free alarm clock app has received between 1 – 5 million downloads and has 4.4 starts rating.

It seems that Bitspin teal will work in developing built-in clock for next Android version.
