Forget smart watches, now you can control your smartphone with a ring in your finger. At least you can manage all your incoming smartphone alerts. This new idea is called Smarty Ring. It is a Bluetooth enabled wearable gadget that lets users get real time updates of:
- Incoming & outgoing call notifications.
- Alerts for Text and E-Mail messages
- Real time updates from Facebook,Twitter, Hangout & Skype.
You can control your smartphone without even touching it. You do these things on your smartphone with this Smarty Ring.
- Accept or reject incoming calls
- Make outgoing calls to preset numbers
- Trigger camera
- Control music
- Change profile.
Smarty Ring comes with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It is 13mm Wide and 4mm Thick. It has 22 maH battery. It is made of Surgical stainless steel body. Users can also use this ring as watch and a phone finder. If user goes 30 feet away from the phone, it will beep to alert you that you have left your phone behind.
It also has an interactive one screen app that connects your phone to Smarty Ring. This app lets you do following thing:
- Allows you to change Smarty Ring’s profile.
- Set the time zones and adjust clock.
- Adjust LED brightness.
- Adjust Beeper’s volume
- Assign buttons to control speed dials
It is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The device comes with 24 hours battery life. It also comes with a wireless charger to charge your smartphone and ring at the same time.
Smarty Ring has also started a campaign to raise funds on Indiegogo. Till now, it has raised $9,195 USD while the goal is $40,000.
