Google has unveiled a new way of adding street view maps. Now it lets users create their own personalized street view maps of their location. It can be created just by photos taken either from photo spheres using your Android phone or a DSLR camera.

“starting today, it’s now possible for you to build your own Street View experiences to do just that. Using a new feature in our Views community, you can easily connect your photo spheres to create 360º virtual tours of the places you love, then share them with the world on Google Maps,” Evan Rapoport, Product Manager, Google Maps & Photo Sphere announced via Google Maps blog.

Capture all photos and then share them on Google views. After this, select photo spheres from your profile and use Google’s tool to connect all photos together. All created maps can also be embedded on any website using Google maps API.

This new feature will help both users and Google Maps. People can share the beauty of nature and locations through Google maps and Google Maps will be improved with users’ help. It is a nice tool for photographers for showcasing the diversity of a location. People can promote the beauty of their places to increase tourism there.

Google’s Evan has also shared a beautiful photo spheres taken from his camera.
