Finally Indian consumers can taste FireFox OS based smartphones. ZTE Open has been launched in India by ZTE in partnership with eBay. It is priced at Rs. 6,990. You can buy it from eBay. eBay has also tweeted about this launch.

 

 ZTE Open With Firefox OS Goes on Sale in Spain

ZTE OPen features a 3.5 inch TFT display with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1 GHz Cortex A-5 Processor. It is packed with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. It also supports microSD card for storage expansion. It features a 2 megapixel rear camera. It also has Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi. It is packed with 1200 mAh battery.

“We are delighted to provide Indian consumers access to the ZTE Open, a popular smartphone which is a great option for first-time smart phone users. This was exclusively available on eBay in the U.S. and the U.K., and is now available in India,” Alok Agarwal, Director – Marketing, eBay India told The Hindu in a statement.
