Qatar Domain Registrar Hacked, Many High Profile Websites defaced Including Google, Facebook

Popular hackers group Syrian Electronic Army is back with another big cyber attack. They have hacked into the Qatar Domains Registry (registry.qa) and changed the DNS records of many popular domains. Defaced websites include Google, Facebook, Vodafone, Al Jazeera, Qatar Telecom, Sheikha Mozah and many other. Many government websites are defaced.

Few websites are still defaced and some have been taken down.

SEA also posted the hack on their Twitter account.


Hackers have not revealed the reason why they hacked Quatar DNS. We are trying to reach to the group to know the motive of this hack.
