Today, Asus has announced a new Android tablet Asus FonePad 7 in India. It is priced at Rs. 17,499 and will be available in coming days in country. It was introduced back in September.

Asus FonePad 7Asus FonePad 7 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dua core intel Atom Z2560 processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is packed with 1 GB RAM. It features a 7 inch IPS display 1280×800 pixels. It has 16 GB internal storage with microSD card slot. It features a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera.

Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS and GLONASS. It is packed with 3950mAh battery that claims to give up to 28 hours of 3G talk time and up to 35 days of standby. It comes with a dual-front speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology. Tablet also features a customized interface that you can change according to you.
