After a long time, LG has announced a new Android tablet LG G Pad 8.3. As the name suggests, it has 8,3 inch display. LG’s previous tablet was LG Optimus Pad. It was launched back in February 2011.

LG G Pad 8.3 features a 8.3 inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 5 megapixel camera. It also has a 1.3 megapixel front camera. It runs on Android 4.2.2.

“Complementing our G Series smartphones, the introduction of the LG G Pad 8.3 further strengthens LG’s premium lineup consisting of our most cutting-edge devices,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our G Pad is just another example of LG delivering devices with the unique selling points consumers around the world will appreciate.”

LG has also revealed a new app QPair app along with the tablet. It comes pre-loaded with LG G Pad 8.3. It lets your Android smartphone to connect seamlessly with tablet to sync messages, calls and notes.

LG has not announced the pricing details. It will be available in market in Q4 2013.
