“Absolutely the databases will be merged. This whole ‘fingerprint scan’ idea originated from someone in our Government. They just didn’t expect to be outed by Snowden, you know.” Said Tim Richardson, District Manager of Apple’s North America Marketing Department told to National Report.

Apple iPhone 5S has a back-up power source so it will never be completely out of power. Police officers will use fingerprint database to match fingerprints from various criminal records and then find the location with iPhone’s GPS feature. Officials expects to catch hundreds of suspects within a month with the help of iPhone.

The fingerprint scanner has already been hacked by German hackers. But it was not a big issue. users know that Apple will fix this kind of security issues. But what about the NSA.

In a similar report, National Report also claims that iOS 7 update gives unlimited access to users’ personal data to US Law enforcement officials. Officials confirmed that this will help them to track the stolen Apple iPhone devices.

It may not be a big deal for US citizens but iPhone users of other countries will surely think about this. Their personal data and fingerprint is now in the server of NSA.
