HP Announces Slate 7 HD, Slate 10 HD and Slate 8 Pro Android Tablets

Today, HP has announced three new Android tablets in its portfolio. These new tablets are Slate 7 HD, Slate 10 HD and Slate 8 Pro.

HP Slate 7 HD and Slate 10 HD, both tablets come with 1280×800 pixels resolution. Both are powered by dual core Marvell PXA986 processor and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Beam. Both tablets feature front and rear camera.

HP Slate

HP Slate 8 Pro features a 8 inch display with 1600×1200 pixels resolution. It is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2. It also features a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. It also features microSD card slot, micro HDMI and micro USB ports.

“Our customers need solutions that work and play the way they do,” said Ron Coughlin, senior vice president, Consumer PC and Solutions Group, HP. “Today’s announcement— which includes four world-first introductions—illustrates how HP is innovating and defining the next-generation computing experience, delivering the productivity customers need and the entertainment they want.”

These tablets will also come with HP Connect Photo and HP Connect Music applications. Pricing details and other specifications will be announced later.
