After 30 days and trying dozens of different logos, Yahoo has selected its new logo. Yahoo’s new logo is still purple with animated exclamation mark. In new logo, Yahoo has darkened its purple color branding. It was the first big overhaul of its logo since 1995. New logo is already live on all Yahoo’s properties.

“We’re excited to share the new Yahoo logo with you. It will begin appearing across Yahoo properties globally tonight,” Kathy Savitt, Chief Marketing Officer in a blogpost.

Yahoo people seems to be excited but people still prefer older logo of Yahoo. We have seen very bad reviews of the new logo on Twitter.

“On a personal level, I love brands, logos, color, design, and, most of all, Adobe Illustrator.  I think it’s one of the most incredible software packages ever made.  I’m not a pro, but I know enough to be dangerous :),” Marissa Mayer, Yahoo CEO posted in blog.

Yahoo has also posted a video showing off the construction of the new logo.
