Finally after waiting for months BlackBerry announced the dates for the release of BBM. Here are the dates 21st September and 22nd September that is tomorrow and day after tomorrow. On 21st September BBM will be available for Android users and 22nd September it will be releasing for IOS. BBM will be finally available as a cross-platform service starting this week.
The company has announced the service will come to Android and IOS in March and now they are giving the dates of release of a cross platform BBM. The various features BBM include are Chats , Groups and file sharing. BBM is known for its security. The rest of the features will be updated to the users through regular updates that will be coming by the end of the year.
BlackBerry is known for its security among its users. Every BBM users will be given a PIN and users will have to share there PIN instead of phone numbers.
So, Tomorrow(21st September) BBM will be available for Android users and only users on Android 4.0 and higher will able to download it. For IOS users they have to wait for one more day and users only on IOS 6 and IOS 7 will able to download it.
According to the stats BlackBerry has 60 million users on BBM on their platform and number will increase drastically once it will be available for Android and IOS. The company has not said any word whether they will release it for Windows phone in near future or not.
