Just before the forthcoming IFA trade show, Acer has announced a 10 inch Android tablet. This tablet is dubbed as Acer Iconia A3. It is launched in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+3G variants.

Acer Iconia A3 features a 10.1 inches WXGA IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core cortex A7 processor. It also comes with Dolby Digital Plus with a virtualized 5.1-channel surround experience over headphones.

It has a 5 megapixels rear camera and a front camera for video calls. Connectivity features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroHDMI and 3G. It is launched in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+3G versions. It will be available in 16GB and 32 GB storage models with microSD card slot.

This tablet will be available by the end of October in Europe, Middle East and Africa for €249. 3G version is priced at €299.
