Samsung Confirms Launch of Galaxy Gear and Note III on September 4

Now it is confirmed that Samsung will introduce its wearable device, Galaxy Gear on September 4 in Berlin. On the same day, Samsung will also launch Galaxy Note III.

A Samsung executive has confirmed the launch to The Korean Times. He also added that Galaxy Gear will not feature flexible display but it is enough to bring a new meaningful momentum in mobile device industry.

Samsung Galaxy Gear is a smartwatch running on Android. It will work as an enhancement to the smartphones. And company has confirmed that it has better and advanced wearable devices in pipleline. It is expected to come with 2.5 inch display with 320×320 pixels resolution. It is powered by a dual core display. Other features are Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. With these connectivity features, It would be able to communicate with the phone. Users will be able to receive and make phone calls direct from the watch. It is expected to start shipping on September 23.

Samsung will also launch its next generation Note on the same day under the name Note III. It is the advanced version of its phablet that is in talks for past few weeks.

Galaxy Note III features a 5.7 inch display, Android 4.2, 3 GB RAM, 13 megapixel camera, 5 megapixel front camera and a octa-core processor.
