Microsoft has announced the subscription package of Office 365 University for Indian students. University students will get the subscription of the service only for Rs. 4,199 for four years.
This subscription service is available for all full-time and part-time university students in India. Apart from students, faculty and staff of the accredited universities are also eligible for this subscription.
In this subscription package, students will get the ability to run office applications on two systems with 20 GB of storage on Microsoft SkyDrive.
“The special pricing for students will help provide them with opportunities and empower them to develop the necessary skills to be successful in the fast-paced campus environment,” Microsoft India GM (Microsoft Office Division) Ramkumar Pichai said.
“University students will love the capabilities of new Office. Office 365 University will be a trusted and integral part of students’ everyday always-on, always-connected life, taking full advantage of the cloud and touch capabilities, all at the best price,” He added.
To claim this subscription, students will need to verify their identity online at www.office.com/verify URL. Students need to fill the university credentials or enter international identity card details. If not available, students can also submit documents through the manual verification process.
After the verification completed, students can purchase Office 365 University from Microsoft store.
