Micromax A240 with 5.7 inch display Coming Next Week

After launching few successful smartphones A116 Canvas HD and A210 Canvas 4, Micromax is preparing for another flagship. AndroidOS reports that Micromax is set to launch Micromax A240 and it could be announced as early as next week.

Report confirms that Micromax A240 will feature a 5.7 inch 720p display. It will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor. Other features are 1 GB RAM, 12 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 megapixel front camera, 16 GB internal storage, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, 3G, aGPS and 2,600 mAh battery.

This new smartphone will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard. It will also feature vertical Panaroma, video pinning to home screen, Flip to mute and smart pause.

Report also claims that smartphone will be priced at Rs. 18000. With this smartphone, Micromax is preparing to fight with Samsung Galaxy Mega series of smartphones.
