Asus has quietly released the upgraded version of its Asus Fonepad tablet in India. Now it is available online via Flipkart for Rs. 17,999.

Upgraded version of Asus FonepadIt features a 7 inch touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It features a 3 megapixel camera with 720p video recording. It also has a front 1.2 megapixel camera for video calls.

It is packed with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It also has microSd card slot for storage expansion. It also features voice calling over 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is packed with 4270 mAh battery.
