Finally we know about the official announcement of Motorola’s much awaited smartphone Moto X. Motorola will officially announce its new Moto X on August 1. Company has already started sending out the invites for press event to tech press in US. This event will be held in New York City.

In past few months, we have already seen many photo leaks and rumored features of the smartphone. Few days back, photos of Eric Schmidt holding Moto X leaked online. We already know the exact look of the smartphone. In the invite image, you can see that the girl holding a smartphone. This phone is exactly similar to what we have seen in hands of Eric Schmidt. We only want to know features of the smartphone.

According to reports, Moto X will be powered by 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960T processor and 2GB of RAM. It will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It will also feature 4.5 inch display (Some reports say that display size is 4.4 inches).

Moto X is the first Motorola device manufactured with involvement from Google. Google Acquired Motorola back in 2011 for 12.5 billion cash.
