BigRock Asks Affiliates to Chnage Password After Identifying Security vulnerability

Popular Indian web host has identified a potential security vulnerability in their affiliate system. So, they have reset password of all affiliate accounts and sent emails to affiliates to select a new password.

“We have identified a potential security vulnerability in our system and as an additional security measure, we have changed your Affiliate account passwords. We request you to kindly set a new password using the link below,” email reads.

Email also contains a link to reset the password of affiliate account. This email was sent by Vivek Ravall, Affiliate Marketing manager.

We have also tried to get more details but company has no announcement on the official blog. So, we cannot say much about the vulnerability and its effects on the affiliate system. We have no idea whether the vulnerability was exploited by someone or company found it before any one.

We are trying to contact company officials to get more details. We will update the post as we get any information regarding the hack.
