A new HTC smartphoe is now available in Indian market. It is called HTC Desire U and comes with dual SIM connectivity. It is now available for Rs. 13,999 on Flipkart. Flipkart is also offering 5% discount on the smartphone. It was announced back in January this year.

HTC Desire U

HTC Desire U features a 4 inch WVGA screen with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. It comes with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.

Connectivity features of HTC Desire U are Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi and USB. It is also packed with 1650 mAh battery.

Key features of HTC Desire U

  • 1 GHz Processor
  • Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS
  • 4-inch Super LCD Capacitive Touchscreen
  • Dual Standby SIM (GSM + GSM)
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 4 GB Storage, expandable up to 32 GB
  • 5 MP Primary Camera

At this price, this smartphone has outdated features. Now we have dual core and quad core smartphones. I couldn’t find a single reason to go for this smartphone. People will only buy this if they want to buy only HTC smartphone. One can go for Samsung Galaxy S Advance that comes with dual core processor and other better features for same price.
