Do you think that Android is limited to smartphones and tablets? Then you should know that HP has announced HP Slate 21 Android tablet that can give you desktop like feeling. Company has announced the device at an event in Beijing along with other Android devices.
HP Slate 21 Packs 21.5 inch displau with 1920×1080 pixels IPS touchscreen display. It is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 4 quad-core processor and runs onn Android 4.2.2. Device comes with 8 GB internal storage. This all in one table comes with a keyboard and mouse out of the box. HP has yet to announce other features of the tablet.
“Honestly, that larger screen allows for a better shared experience. This could replace one or two mobile devices in your home that could be used as a shared device for the house. Creating a large-screened device with touch functionality, we thought we could unlock more uses,” HP’s Eric Wiggins notes.
“Customers are looking for technology that simplifies their lives while keeping them connected to the entertainment they enjoy and the content they need,” said Jun Kim, vice president and general manager, PC Displays and Accessories, HP. “The HP Slate21 allows families to easily access content through the cloud and enjoy it together on a large, interactive screen.”
HPC Slate 21 will go on sale in US in September for $399. Company has yet to announce International availability and pricing.
