Google has introduced a new page in Account settings page called “Recent Activity.” This page displays recent sign-ins with browser, OS, date-time and location. It also displays password change and changes to other security settings. This page will help users to know if their account has been accessed illegally by third-parties or persons.

This page displays login information for your entire Google account. It will show information for all Google products whether it was Blogger, Gmail, YouTube or any other products.

You can check your Account’s Recent Activity from this page. See the data, browser on device along with location. Just click on the activity and it will show the location of that activity on Map at right side. To get the IP address, click on Details link of below the map.

“A sign-in is only listed when you’ve actually typed your username and password to sign in. For example, if you’ve been signed in to your account for several weeks on your phone, checking your email from time to time, we’ll only list the time and location of your initial sign-in,” Google Explained.

We already have Recent Activity for Gmail which can be found at the bottom of Gmail inbox page.

Recent Activity page is really helpful to get the information of illegal activity in account. If you found any suspicious login, change the password to be at safer side.

Google always try to make users’ account. This is the reason it always experiments with new security features and add it to the product if it works fine.
