In just few days after the launch on Amazon.in, Amazon has launched its Android tablets Kind Fire HD and Kindle Fire HD 8.9 in India. Bother tablets will be up for sale beginning June 27.
Amazon Kindle Fire HD is being launched in India to compete with Google Nexus 7. 16 GB Kindle Fire HD will be available for Rs. 15,999 and 32 Gb will be available for Rs. 18,999. It features 7 inch screen with 1280×800 pixels HD display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz OMAP4460 dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. It has a front HD camera. Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out.
Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 features 8.9 inch display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution. It has 1 GB RAM and a front HD camera. It is powered by a 1.5GHz OMAP4470 dual core processor. Other features are Dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, front HD camera and 6000 mAh battery. Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 has got a price tag of Rs. 21,999 for 16GB) and Rs. 25,999 32GB.
