Airtel Brings Free Zone with Google, Offers Free Access to Gmail, Google Search and Google+

Airtel has partnered with Google to launch a new offer Free Zone. This new offer lets Airtel users to access Google Search, Gmail and Google+ in India. This offer will not work with Google Apps. Users need to visit mobile websites via browsers. This offer is also available to featured phone users with data access.

Airtel customers can access the service by visiting airtel.in/freezone and start using Internet. It also offers attachments download. When users will move away from free zone to visit more websites, it will informed about data charges and ask users to purchase appropriate data package.

In Google search, users can search for free and then access the first page of website for free. If user click into a website, they will be directed to a page where they can purchase data packages. In Google+, users can chare photos and messages online with their circles. Users can access Gmail from their mobile browser. Clicking on any external link will redirect users to a page where they can purchase data packages.

Data usage on Free Zone is available up to limit of 1 GB per month. It is also unclear till when the Free Zone offer would be available. Customers will get notifications about any changes to free Zone’s pricing structures.
