Samsung has sent invites to the tech press in India for the launch of new Galaxy Series smartphone in India. The invite hints the launch of Galaxy Mega smartphone as the headline says, ‘mega launch of newest Galaxy.’ Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 has also been listed online on Saholic without any price tag.

Few sources also confirms that Samsung is going to launch Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 for Rs. 25,999. It is expected to go on sale in first week of June.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 was announced last month with Galaxy Mega 6.3. As the name suggest, it feature 5.8 inch qHD display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It features a 8 megapixel primary camera and a 1.9 megapixels front camera. It is packed with 1.5 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage and a microSD card slot.

Connectivity features of the smartphone includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.0 and GPS. It is packed with 2600 mAh battery.
