Google is reportedly going to unveils the revamped Google Maps at Google I/O conference. A sign-up page for Google Maps was spotted ahead of the schedule that reveals some details of the redesigned maps.
At this moment, it seems that Google will roll out new maps gradually and will be available to only users who request invites. Along with signup page a tour was also leaked that shows most of the details of this new revamped maps.
New Maps has a smarter search box with links to reviews. Users will be able to review it with their Google+ profile and data will be shown on maps. You will also be able to see details of flight search, Google earth and other Google properties. With every use, Maps will become better.
Most notable feature of this revamped map is Google Earth integration. It will now run directly on the browsers that supports WebGL. It means, you will be able to see 3D maps direct from the web.
