Finally, Twitter’s Music website went live but has nothing. Users can login in with their Twitter account but it has nothing to show.
It has a Sign in button on the page. Clicking on that button redirects users to authorize the app request. The app is called “Trending Music Web”. After authorizing he app, it returns to the same page. Although the service is not available for most of us, Ryan Seacrest, an American TV presenter, tweeted that he was “playing with @twitter’s new music app (yes it’s real!)”. Official Twitter account of Twitter Music also retweeted his tweets. It shows that service exists but for few people only.
According to reports, this new service will suggest artists and songs to users based on who they follow on Twitter.
Yesterday, twitter purchased a music discovery service We Are Hunted. This service tracks the trending music on social media and blogs. Few months back, Twitter also acquired Vine. On Vine, users can upload six seconds video clips. We can expect this new Twitter Music service to be something like these two.
We are trying to get updates of the service and update you soon.
