Sony has launched a new Android smartphone Sony Xperia SP in Indian market. Sony Xperia SP was announced last month. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 27,490. At this price, Xperia SP will compete with Galaxy S III and HTC One X.
Sony Xperia SP runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and likely yo get Android 4.2.2 update. It features a 4.6” 720p HD Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2. It is powered by 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor with the Adreno 320 GPU.
It features a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash along with a front VGA camera. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. It also features a microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.
Sony has packed Xperia SP with 8 megapixel autofocus camera. It has LED flash and can record full HD videos. There is also a front VGA camera for video chat.
It also features dual Band Wifi, Wifi direct, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS. It comes with pre-loaded with Sony Music and Sony LIV apps for streaming multimedia.
