Sony to Launch Xperia ZR with Quad Core Processor

Sony is reportedly working on a new smartphone Called Sony Xperia ZR. It is code names as Dogo with model number C550X. Although photo of smartphone is not available, but we got few specifications from sources.

Sony Xperia ZR will features a 4.6 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It will be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro chipset with 2 GB RAM. It features a 13 megapixel camera with Exmor RS camera sensor. It will also come with a front camera but resolution is unknown. We can expect a 2 megapixel camera at the front. Other features are 8 GB internal storage and 2300 mAh battery.

Like other Xperia smartphones, this will also be water and dust resistant with IP55/IP58 rating. This is better than Xperia Z and it can be exposed in 1.5 meter water for 30 minutes. Design of the smartphone looks similar to the Xperia ZL. But we do not have confirm details this time.
