Samsung has announced the third generation of Galaxy tablets called Samsung Galaxy tab 3. This tablet will be launched in Wifi only and Wifi+ 3G versions. Galaxy Tab 3 is a 7 inch tablet. Wifi only tablet will go on sale in May and 3G version will be available in June.
Features are not much improved when we compare it with older version of galaxy tablets. It is powered by a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It features a 7 inch display with 1024x600p resolution. We were expecting HD display. Design of the tablet is similar to Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet.
It features a 3 megapixel camera at the back of the device and a 1.3 megapixel camera at thef front. It comes in 8/16 GB internal storage models. Internal storage is also expandable up to 64 Gb via microSD card.
Samsung is facing tough competition with low cost tablet and smartphone manufacturers So, Samsung has tried to make this tablet budget friendly. This tablet is launched to fight with Acer Iconia B1, Asus Fonepad and HP Slate 7 tablets.
