Asus announced Asus Fonepad at MWC with Intel. Now company is going to launch the device in India on April 24. Company is sending invitation to media for Launch event scheduled on 24th April.

Asus FonePad India Launch

Asus Fonepad is a 7 inch tablet that runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Intel Atom Z2420 processor. It is packed with 1 GB RAM. It comes in 8 GB and 16 GB storage model along with microSD card slot. It comes with 3G, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. It also supports voice calling over 3G network.

It also features a 3 megapixel camera at the back that can also record 720p HD videos. For video calls, it is also packed with a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

It is packed with 4,270 mAh battery that can deliver up to 9.8 hours of video playback.
