Several pakistani Government Websites Hacked by Indian Hacker

Indian hacker Godzilla managed to breach an important server hosted many Pakistani government websites. These government websites includes Ministry of Information Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs & Statistics, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Environment and many more.

Several pakistani Government Websites Hacked by Indian Hacker

“All network owned including switches because they deserve it, I have not touched any innocent website because target is only Government,” Hacker told to The Hacker News.

To protect the websites, Pakistani authorities have proxy server connected to other local machines. But, Godzilla managed to breach the proxy server and then all local servers. This forced Pakistani IT persons to shutdown the server.

Most of the websites are currently not available.

  • www.minorities.gov.pk
  • www.lgrd.gov.pk
  • www.moenv.gov.pk
