Google has just pushed an update for Google+ with many visual updates. When you visit your Google+ profile, you will notice a message to change cover pic with larger image. Now users can add a larger cover pic. According to Google, “room for your selection to shine.”
“Today we’re making some updates to Google+ Profiles and Pages that include adding a Local reviews tab, an easier way to edit your info, and larger cover photos. We hope you like the changes, let us know what you think,” Sara McKinley posted on Google+.
There is now a new place for all your local reviews. A new tab is now added in your profile.
About page has got changes. Now you will see a two column page. Information is well categorized. You can edit any group of information by the edit link below the group.
If you hover a profile in Google+, you will noticed that hover card also got a new look and are larger. Now It will show profile pic in a circle with cover pic in background. You can also initiate hang-out or chat direct from hover card.
These updates are rolling out gradually, so it will take few hours to reach all profiles.
