Google+ Now Supports Animated Profile Picture

Google has now added a new feature that is not available on Facebook other social networks. Google+ users can now add animated profile pictures. Now You can entertain your friends and followers with your animated profile picture.

Google+ now supports animated profile pictures

“Our gif to you. You can now use animated gifs for your profile photo,” Google announced.

This animated profile picture will animated only on profile picture. On news feed, profile picture will show single frame. Animated pictures can be seen from both desktop and mobile devices. But, this feature does not support iOS app for now. iOS users will have to wait to get this feature. They cannot see picture animating from their iOS device.

Google+ already support GIF images on  posts. Few days back, Google also added the new filter to find animated GIF images from image search. It shows how Google like GIF animated images and want users to enjoy it too.

Few people also think that this will be annoying because many people may add irritating pictures. Now, this will depend on person to person how he use the feature and add animation.
