Microsoft is trying its best to overtake Google. In this campaign, Microsoft challenged people to break up with Google on Valentine’s day. Although, these steps do not seem to work, we got a bad news for Bing. Russian search engine Yandex has overtaken Bing worldwide.

According to latest data by ComScore, Bing has now dropped to the fifth spot and overtaken by Yandex. This data shows records for both November and December. Bing saw fewer quires that Yandex. It is worth to mention that Yandex has operates only in Russia And Turkey.

Google is still at the top followed by Chinese search engine Baidu. Yahoo comes at third place. Yandex and Bing are at the fourth and fifth spot respectively.

If we take a look on the data, Google saw 114 billion searches in December, Baidu 14.5 billion, Yahoo 8.63 billion, Yandex 4.844 billion and Bing 4.477 billion. We can see that there is not tough competition for top three places. Only Yandex and Bing are close. Bing has more users than Yandex, but Yandex users sent more queries.
