HP Launches Android Tablet Slate 7 at MWC, starts at $169

HP has launched its first Android tablet called Slate 7 at the Mobile World Congress 2013. This tablet comes with Android Jelly Bean and features 7 inch display. With this tablet, HP is trying to come back in tablet market. It launched its last tablet WebOS-based TouchPad back in 2011.

HP Slate 7 is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core Cortex-A9 processor. It features a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean onboard.

It features a 3 megapixel camera at the back of the device and a VGA camera at front. Connectivity features of the tablet include micro USB port, WiFi connectivity. It also has a microSD card slot to expanda storage up to 32 GB.

HP Slate 7 also comes with HP ePrint app that allows users to print on the go directly from any application installed.

It will be available in US from May starting at $169.
