Huawei Launches Its 1st Windows 8 smartphone, Huawei Ascend W1

Huawei has launched its first windows phone 8 based smartphone called Huawei Ascend W1. Huawei has showcased the smartphone at the ongoing Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas, USA.

Huawei Ascend W1 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor and runs on Windows Phone 8 based smartphone. It features a 4 inch WVGA IPS LCD display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

It comes with 512 MB RAM and Adreno 305 GPU for better graphics. Internal storage of the smartphone is 4 GB that is expandable up to 32 Gb via microSD card.

It comes with 5 megapixel camera with 720p video recording ability.

It is packed with 1950mAh battery that claims to give 470 hours of standby time
