Yahoo Mail Gets Major Redesign on Web, Android and Launched App For iPhone, Windows 8

Today, Yahoo’s CEO has announced new design for Yahoo mail. Company has completely revamped the Yahoo mail web and Android app. Now Yahoo mail app is also available on iPhone and windows 8 platform.

This new design aims to make email access fast and easy. It allows users to login quickly and access emails faster. Now Yahoo is trying to make interface more clear than before.

“You’ve told us loud and clear that you want fewer distractions when it comes to email. You want to quickly login, communicate, and get on with your day. And we’ve listened. Starting today, the new Yahoo! Mail is fast, easy and available anywhere you go. These improvements will be available on all major platforms: Web, Windows 8, iPhone/iPod touch and Android,” Marissa Mayer announced.

Apps are now available to download from respective app stores. Android users will also receive update notification soon. Web version update is also being rolled out and will be available to all users within few days.

Email service is an important part of Yahoo and company is struggling with Gmail and loosing customers. With this design, Yahoo is trying to refresh Yahoo mail to attract more users.
