Zen launches its first Android phone Zen Ultraphone U1

Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Zen mobile has launched its first Android smartphone in Indian market. This smartphone is called Zen Ultraphone U1. It is a dual SIM phone and priced at Rs. 4,999.

Zen Ultraphone U1 is powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It features a 3.5 inch HVGA (480 × 320 pixel) capacitive touchscreen display. It also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash.

connectivity features of this smartphone includes GPRS/EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth. It does not have 3G connectivity which is something that we expect.

It is also packed with a 1200 mAh battery.

At this price, it jumped in the market in direct competition with Micromax and Karbonn. As I already mentioned that smartphone misses 3G connectivity, it will be hard for it to get customers.
