They also added a deface message in their language. Its english translation says, “Eboz of a friend always there for me. My homies have not shot by me with every breath.”

They also added a word, “Pakistan Downed” that shows the website has been taken down.

After few hours, Google made the website down and Google.com.pk is still inaccessible.

After investigating a bit, I got to know that Google’s server has not been compromised. Hackers hacked the PKNIC’s database, which is the official domain name registrar for Pakistani cTLD .PK domains. They changed the DNS records of Googleo.com.pk to point to the deface page hosted on free hosting.

It’s still unclear how hackers managed to hack into the DNS servers. We are still looking to get  more information regarding this hack.

If you have any information related to this hack, you can share with us.
