Samsung has announced two new tablet-PC devices called Ativ and Ativ Pro. Company refered these tablet-PCs as “Smart PC.” These tablets comes with an attachable keyboards that turns these tablets into a PC. This is the reason company calls is smart PC. Both Smart PC runs on windows 8 operating system.
Samsung Ativ Smart PC is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor and features a 11.6 inch touchscreen. It has a 2 GB DDR2L RAM and comes with 64 GB internal storage. It also features a 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
It comes with Bluetooth and WiFi for connectivity but there is no SIM slot. It also comes with HDMI port, USB and card reader ports.

Samsung Ativ Pro is the advanced version of Ativ Smart PC. It is powered by advanced Intel Core i5 processor and runs on Windows 8 operating system. It features a 11.6 inch touchscreen display and 4 GB RAM It is also packed with 128 GB internal storage. It also has a SIM slot for data connectivity. Other connectivity features includes Wifi and Bluetooth.

Samsung Ativ costs Rs 53,990 in India and Ativ Pro is priced at Rs 75,490.
It is also packed with a 2-cell battery that can deliver up to 13.5 hours battery back which is higher that iPad.
