Rovio has launched another Angry Birds Franchise, Angry Birds Star Wars on Android and iOS platforms. This new version of game is launched in association with Lucas film, the makers of Star Wars.

Story of Angry Birds Star Wars begins in the universe of Star Wars. In this game, birds takes on the fight between of rebel alliance of Angry Birds against the empire of Bad Piggies. The game comes with original Start Wars characters  including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia and Obeone Kenobi.

The game features 80 levels and company also promises to deliver free updates. There are 40 additional challenge levels which you can unlock with your gameplay. Birds can use lightsabers, Blasters and Jedi powers to wreak havoc on the Imperial Pigs

Although the game is only available on iOS and Android, Rovio is expected to launch it on Windows Phone, Windows 8, Mac, PC and Amazon Kindle Fire platforms.

Angry Birds Star Wars costs $0.99 for iPhone and runs on iPhone 3GS and up. It costs $2.99 for iPad and supports all versions of iPads.  The ad-supported game is available on Android devices for free of cost.
