Mid range Andoid smartphone LG Optimus L9 has officially launched iin India. It is priced at Rs.22,000. It was announced back in August this year.

This new Optimus L9 features a 4.7 inch IPS panel touchscreen disaply and is powered by a dual core mobile processor. LG Optimus L9 features a new user interface- Innovate UX. It also comes with QTranslator that can perform simple scan to translate function for about 64 user languages and 44 foreign languages. It can can read the text captured by device’s camera and then translate it.

It comes with 1 GB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash along with a VGA front camera for video calling. It is packed with a 2150 mAh SiO battery that is improved version of standard Lithium ion batteries.
