Zync has launched another Android tablet, Zync Z1000 in Indian market. It is a 9.7 inch tablet and is available for Rs. 10,990.

Zync Z1000 features a 9.7 inch 5 Point Multi-Touch capacitive display with a resolution of 1024×768. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, Mali-400 3D GPU with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and soon to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade.

It comes with a 8 GB built memory which is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. It also features a 2 megapixel camera. It also features a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling. It comes with 3G connectivity via USB dongle, LAN/Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth v.2.0. It also features a Mini HDMI and microUSB.

Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited on the launch of the device said, “This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution with a face-unlocking feature. As of now, the product is running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months.”

It also comes with nice applications including Ibibo, Hungama, Adobe Reader, Aldiko e-Book Reader, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, GTalk, Whatsapp, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Skype Video Calling and more.

It is also packed with 7,000 mAh battery that will perform well.
