Top 25 Worst Passwords of 2012List of worst password of the year has been released. Once again, “Password” and “123456” top the list of worst password.

Analyst firm SplashData has come with the list of 25 worst password of the year. Top three are the most common passwords which have been in the list for past few years. Password was at top last year and retain the same position this year.

Company says that it releases the list of worst passwords just to raise awareness of bad passwords. In this way, it also try to promote its SplashID password management software.

SplashData CEO Morgan Slain stated, “At this time of year, people enjoy focusing on scary costumes, movies and decorations, but those who have been through it can tell you how terrifying it is to have your identity stolen because of a hacked password.”
