Pinterest is a popular social networking website that gains popularity in recent days. It allows users to pin images on the pin board. Now it has added few more controls for the users.

Now users can block and report users on Pinterest. If they any one annoying or find inappropriate content, now they can block the user and report inappropriate content to Pinterest.

“It’s important that you have control of your Pinterest experience. We’ve always offered basic features to control things like the emails you receive, social networking sites you connect your account with, and the ability to report pins,” Pinterest wrote.

“We’re adding a couple of new features people have requested to give you more control, including the ability to block and report a user and more granular email settings,” it added.

Follow these steps to report a user. Go to the profile of the user. Here you will see a flag icon on the profile page at the right side. Click on this flag icon to open the popup menu. Here you will find the last option to block and report the user.

Block Pinterest user

This feature is rolling out slowly so it may not be visible to all users yet. Blocked users will not be notified about this.

Now it also allows you to control on the email notifications. You can set for which you want to receive and how often. You can also change your email address on Pinterest and also change the notification preferences. If you’d like to unsubscribe from all notifications, press the Disable Emails button and confirm that you want all notifications disabled.
